Mollichaff Donkey is a complete fibre feed, formulated especially for donkeys. It contains fibre pellets, dried grass, oat straw, soya oil, chamomile, lemon balm, mint, and a broad vitamin and mineral supplement.
Weight: 18kg
Mollichaff Donkey has been formulated under the guidance of some of the UK’s leading donkey carers. Magnesium is often deficient in UK soils and is an important factor in the nutritional support of many metabolic processes in the donkey. Deficiency may be associated with glucose intolerance and insulinresistance, both of which are important in the nutritional management of laminitis. Magnesium also plays an important role in maintaining a healthy nervous system. Limestone is added to provide additional calcium for strong bones and healthy growth.
Mollichaff Donkey is low in sugar, starch and energy. The energy comes from high quality digestible fibre and oil-based ingredients. It carries the HoofKind symbol to denote that it is suitable for laminitics, and when fed at the recommended levels, needs no further supplementation other than good quality forage.
Feeding Guide
The following table is intended as a guide only and is based upon a winter ration. Good quality forage should also be offered when using Mollichaff Donkey as a bucket feed to complete the diet. Remember that every donkey is an individual and should be treated accordingly. Please contact us for more specific guidance on more specific levels to feed.
