Mollichaff Alfalfa Oil is made from high fibre, UK grown alfalfa mixed with a generous dressing of soya oil.
Contains an energy level equivalent to a medium energy mix making it great for horses or ponies that require increased condition or energy.
High in fibre and ‘slow-release’ energy.
Low in sugar and starch.
A natural feed to replace cereals in the diet reducing fizziness.
Alfalfa is naturally low in sugars and is therefore safe to feed to laminitics.
Highly palatable to fussy eaters.
Good source of natural vitamins and minerals.
Contains nutrient rich leaf as well as the stalk of the plant.
Mollichaff Alfalfa oil contains no molasses.
Alfalfa (Lucerne) is a legume and is a rich source of highly digestible fibre. When fed in its pure form, alfalfa will provide equivalent energy levels to that of a cool mix, yielding approx 10MJ/kg. The energy is derived from fibre and will therefore not cause the fizziness associated with grains.
